The Zeekr 001 FR (Future Road) is an ultra-high-performance, limited-production variant of the standard Zeekr 001 electric shooting brake. It is engineered to be a track-focused supercar that retains everyday usability.

Design and Exterior

The 001 FR maintains the basic shape of the standard 001 but is heavily modified for aerodynamics and weight reduction. It features extensive use of lightweight carbon fiber for the body kit, front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser, roof spoiler, and mirror caps. This aggressive bodywork enhances downforce and overall stability at high speeds.

It retains the five-door shooting brake body style with seating for five, but with a clear emphasis on sporty aesthetics and functionality.

Performance and Drivetrain

The core of the 001 FR’s performance is its radical quad-motor all-wheel-drive system, which allows for extremely precise torque vectoring and control over each individual wheel.

• Motors: It has four independent silicon carbide high-performance electric motors.
• Total Power Output: The combined system delivers a staggering 930 kW (approximately 1,265 horsepower or 1,282 PS) and a peak torque of 1,280 Nm.
• Acceleration: This immense power translates to incredible speed:
  • 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in approximately 2.07 seconds (measured with a 1ft rollout).
  • 0 to 60 mph is often reported around 2.36 seconds.
• Top Speed: The top speed is electronically limited to 280 km/h (174 mph).
• Handling: The quad-motor setup enables unique features like the ability to perform a “tank turn” (rotating 360 degrees in place) and dynamic torque distribution for superior cornering speeds.

Battery, Range, and Charging

The 001 FR is built on an advanced 800-volt electrical architecture, optimized for speed in both driving and charging.

• Battery Size: It uses a high-capacity 100 kWh Qilin battery pack from CATL.
• Range: The official CLTC range is around 550 km (approximately 342 miles). Real-world range estimates are slightly lower due to the performance nature of the vehicle.
• Charging: The 800V system supports ultra-fast DC charging. It can charge from 10% to 80% in as little as 15 minutes at a high-power charging station.

Interior and Technology

The interior balances luxury with a race-inspired feel, featuring Alcantara trim, sport seats, a unique flat-bottom steering wheel, and bespoke digital interfaces. The vehicle includes high-end components like Brembo high-performance calipers, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, and track-specific driver assistance software.
