The BYD Yuan Plus, also known as the BYD Atto 3 in most international markets, is an all-electric compact SUV. It is built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0, using their ultra-safe Blade Battery technology. • Range (WLTP): The official WLTP figures are 345 km (214 miles) for the 49.9 kWh battery and 420 km (261 miles) for the 60.5 kWh battery.

Charging

The Yuan Plus (Atto 3) supports both AC and DC charging.

• AC Charging (Level 2): Charging with an 11 kW onboard charger takes around 6.5 hours for a full charge. Using a more common 7.4 kW home charger takes around 9 hours 45 minutes.
• DC Fast Charging: The maximum fast charging rate is 88 kW (for the 60.5 kWh battery), allowing a charge from 30% to 80% in approximately 29 minutes.

Interior and technology

The cabin is known for its unique, fitness-inspired design.

• Interior design: The interior features a bold, rhythmic design with guitar-string-like door trims and dumbbell-shaped air vents.
• Infotainment: A large, rotating central touchscreen (12.8-inch on higher trims) controls most functions.
• Convenience: Features include a panoramic sunroof, a heat pump system for efficiency, and multiple driving modes.

Exterior and practicality

• Cargo space: 434 liters of cargo capacity, expanding to 1,338 liters with the rear seats folded.
