The Zeekr X is a compact luxury electric SUV (sub-compact in US terms) developed by Geely under its premium Zeekr brand. It is a stylish, urban-focused crossover built on Geely’s advanced Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, sharing components with other electric vehicles like the Smart #1 and Volvo EX30.

Design and Interior

The Zeekr X has a sleek, futuristic 5-door design aimed at younger, urban buyers. Key design features include frameless doors, hidden door handles, narrow LED headlights, and a distinctive lighting signature across the rear.
It seats five passengers comfortably. The interior emphasizes minimalism and high technology:

• Central Screen: A large 14.6-inch floating center console screen that can physically slide across the dashboard to face the passenger on some trims.
• Luxury Features: Premium materials like soft-touch fabrics and Alcantara are used extensively. It features sporty seats with integrated headrests and high-end options like a built-in refrigerator between the rear seats and a premium Yamaha sound system.
• Head-Up Display: An advanced AR-HUD (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display) is available to project vital information onto the windshield.

Performance and Drivetrain

The Zeekr X is available in both single-motor RWD and dual-motor AWD configurations.

• RWD Version: Features a single rear-mounted motor producing 200 kW (around 268 hp) of power and 343 Nm of torque. This version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 5.8 seconds.
• AWD Version: Adds a front motor for a combined output of 315 kW (around 422 hp) and 543 Nm of torque. This powerful configuration achieves 0 to 100 km/h in a rapid 3.8 seconds.
• Transmission: All variants use a single-speed automatic transmission.

Battery and Range

The Zeekr X uses a single battery size across different configurations.

  The Zeekr X supports both AC and DC charging methods.

  • AC Home Charging: Maximum AC charging speed is 11 kW (or 7.4 kW depending on the market), taking roughly 8 to 10 hours for a full charge.
